Sweet Victory For Honey Go Lightly

The 6 yr old mare, Honey Go Lightly having only her second start since joining Alexander Brothers, rallied well in the closing stages to hold off a late challenge from the favorite, Four Winds to win the last race at Morphettville Racecourse on Saturday 31st December 2022 over 1200 meters. The Wandjina mare was well handled by jockey, Eran Boyd who had Honey Go Lightly well placed and kept her going strongly to the line to end 2022 on a high.
