Pretty Reliable(NZ) did it the hard way on Saturday 01 October 2022, at Morphettville when she shed her maiden tag and justified favouritism. She jumped from the deepest draw over the 1300m trip and got caught deep in the early stages. Champion jockey Barend Vorster made on early move to get her into contention, once she got on terms, she finished off well, to win comfortably. Purchased at the New Zealand Ready to Run sale last November for $50 000, this Reliable Man filly looks set for bigger things to come if she keeps improving.
